(Kazan, KZN.RU, June 16, by Adel Galiyev) People's Artist of Russia Sergei Bezrukov will recite poems within the "Literary Coutyards" project in Kazan. This was announced by the head of the Department of Culture Aigul Gornysheva.
The city project within the Year of Culture was launched on June 11. On that day, an ordinary Kazan courtyard was turned into a reading room, where master classes were held, poems recited and Kazan poets read their works. The highlight of the program was the performance by People's Artist of Russia Konstantin Khabensky and his pupils from the Kazan Studio for Creative Development of Children and Adolescents.
“Needless to say, the word "courtyard" fails to describe the scale and, most importantly, the atmosphere of the event,” said Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. “A great number of Kazan families, together with grandmothers, moms and dads, children and grandchildren, attended the event. It was a huge success! I hadn't expected such a surge of emotions and such warm cultural atmosphere.”
According to the head of the city, the performance of People's Artist of Russia Sergei Bezrukov, who agreed to participate, despite his busy schedule, will further crown the project.
