The Privoz fruit and vegetable base contributed to the
formation of humanitarian aid with over 1,000 boxes of tangerines. Under the
auspices of the Good Kazan Foundation, the cargo composed of citrus fruits to support
the residents of the destroyed cities in celebrating the winter holidays.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the city, supervised the
fifth shipment of humanitarian aid this year, expressing hope for a peaceful
future and delivering greetings from Kazan residents.
«We send our warmest congratulations to the people of Lisichansk and
Rubezhnoye. We have sent you traditional New Year's tangerines to create a
holiday mood. May 2025 bring peace. From the people of Kazan, and all those who
share our belief in peace and victory, we wish you a happy and prosperous New
Year», – said Ilsur Metshin.

with the drivers of the trucks. They
said that

cooling system that
maintains a constant temperature)

will help bring the tangerines
fresh and
preserve their quality.

Since October 31, 2022, the Mayor's Office and the Good Kazan Charitable
Foundation have sent a total of 84 humanitarian aid shipments to Lisichansk and
Rubezhnoye, with 27 trucks in 2022, 41 in 2023, and 16 in 2024. The previous shipment
was in October, consisting of a convoy of five trucks carrying food, household
supplies, and construction materials, weighing over 91 tons.
The main warehouse for collecting and organizing humanitarian cargo on
Gorkovskoye Highway has received more than 1,592 tons of assistance. More than
400 organizations participated in the collection of assistance.
For reference, humanitarian aid is also being transferred to fighters
from Tatarstan's capital. Since the start of their work, they have received
more than 50 shipments, including vehicles, equipment, uniforms, and essential
supplies. This week, Bulat Aleyev, the Chief of Staff of Kazan's Executive
Committee, delivered special equipment, as well as an armored van to soldiers
from the 430th Motorized Rifle Regiment mostly composed of residents
of Tatarstan.
In addition, humanitarian aid to residents of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye,
as well as to participants of the special military operation, is being provided
by city activists and volunteer associations. A coordinating council will be
created in Kazan, which will unite all organizations. This idea was supported
by Ilsur Metshin.
