This year’s last

On the eve of the New Year, three thousand sweet children's gifts and 20 tons
of tangerines, as well as other food products, clothing, household chemicals,
construction materials, diesel generators will be delivered to residents of
cities supported by Tatarstan. The shipment of humanitarian cargo was inspected
by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

humanitarian convoy collected by caring residents of Kazan and businessmen. We
have completed the trucks, as before, based on the application that we receive
from the leadership of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye. Residents of these cities
need clothes, household chemicals, medicines, glass, and building materials. Of
course, New Year's sweets and gifts were loaded into the trucks. Three thousand
children will receive them. In addition, we are sending 20 tons of tangerines,
chak-chak and our best wishes. Happy New Year!”, – said the head of the capital
of the republic of Tatarstan.
Residents and enterprises of
Kazan actively participated in the collection of humanitarian aid for residents
of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye. “I want to express my gratitude to the
enterprises: More than 350 companies from Kazan are taking part in the
collection – we have already sent 1300 tons of humanitarian cargo. We will
continue to provide support,”- the Mayor added.
Kazan educational
institutions also joined the cargo collection. For example, students of the 4th
grade of school № 18 collected several parcels for residents of Lisichansk and
Rubezhnoye. They packed socks, sweets and their letters of wishes into the
boxes.
Forty tons of food products

and other canned products, butter, groceries, cereals, vegetables, fruits.
Another truck was loaded with 20 tons of construction glass, and the second
with 15 tons of diesel generators and auto parts, tools, clothes and household
chemicals. A batch of books has been sent to libraries – fiction, popular

“We have gathered once again
thanks to the caring citizens of Kazan. Twenty tons of tangerines, three
thousand gifts, necessary uniforms, work clothes, glass have been collected. We
wish peace to the residents of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye in 2024. Happy New

most important wish is that everyone be alive and healthy, and return home
shortly. We will continue to support Lisichansk, Rubezhnoye, and all our guys
on the front line,”- the Mayor noted.
