In Kazan,
293 apartment buildings have been renovated this year: the roof and fronts have
been refurbished, utilities and elevators have been replaced. The scope of work
performed exceeds 98 %.
“For 10
years we have come a long way, today more than 63% of the housing stock of
Kazan has been renovated, - the head of the city said. – The houses should be
maintained properly. But for decades to come, the housing stock including utilities,
elevators, roofs, has been brought into a good working condition”. For
reference, 3,493 apartment buildings have already been renovated in the city
under the program.
In 2021, 144 roofs and 103 fronts have been refurbished, 170 elevators
have been replaced
Under the
three-year overhaul program of apartment buildings in Kazan, it is planned to overhaul
740 buildings for more than 7 billion rubles. This year, 293 of them have been
renovated, 171 houses have been included in the next year's program, Dmitry
Anisimov, chair of the Housing and Utilities Committee of the Executive
Committee of the city, reported.
The housing
overhaul program follows the Our Yard improvement program - this year residents
of 22 houses were able to evaluate the results of both programs.
This year,
144 roofs and 103 fronts have been refurbished, the heating networks have been
replaced in 122 houses, 170 new elevators have been installed in 59 houses,
weather control units are also installed in houses according to the program,
entrances are being replaced and other work is being carried out.
“After
overhaul, acceptance committees were carried for 266 out of 293 houses”, -D.Anisimov
said. According to him, to date, overhaul was completed by 98.31%.
The
overhaul of the apartment buildings is not limited to the list of works
provided in the program, D.Anisimov noted. Additional work is being carried out
at the expense of other programs and sources. Thus, the yards are being
equipped with enclosures for separate waste collection – in 2020-2021, 317
trash enclosures were equipped, 155 of them by property management companies,
162 under the Our Yard program. The property management companies also
introduce innovative technologies, such as a smart intercom, an automatic door
opening system, anti-spam mailboxes and others. As an example, D.Anisimov cited
the house No.2 on Volgogradskaya Street, where the management company installed
a charging station for e-vehicles.
Maintenance work: the roofs of 52 houses and the fronts of 169 houses
were refurbished
D.Anisimov
also reported on the progress of maintenance work. Every year, the property
management companies form lists of scheduled preventive maintenance.
“These
works are a great help in carrying out renovation works. The spring and autumn
inspections of residential building is taking into account, as well as the
condition of utilities, roofs, fronts, entrances and regulations of supervisory
authorities”, - explained the chair of the Housing and Utilities Committee.
This year,
as part of the scheduled preventive maintenance, the roofs of 52 houses were
refurbished, the fronts of 169 houses were repaired and the heating networks in
48 houses were repaired.
