on Tunakova Street, located in a building with 80 years history, has changed
beyond recognition. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the capital of Tatarstan, inspected
the results of renovation. “After the renovation, we can see a unique
kindergarten with an extraordinary front, even better than the new one. Now the
design of this kindergarten is pretending to be the most beautiful and extraordinary
in Kazan”, - the head of the city said.
Two-storey kindergarten No.126 on 53 a Tunakova Street
with an area of 455.2 sq.m. was built in 1943 and has never been renovated
before. The building of the preschool is designed for 60 places. The
kindergarten has a second building on 44a Vosstaniya Street.
“I remember how the kindergarten looked before the
renovation, it is unrecognizable today– the Mayor noted. – The building was
built during the war, against all odds, a great attention was paid to children.
The facility has been preserved to the present day. This shows the careful
attitude of the team, as well as confirms the high quality of construction, in
which, as some local historians say, German prisoners of war participated”.
More than 47 million rubles were allocated for the renovation
of the kindergarten, the contractor company was Vikara LLC. The works on
re-roofing and front renovation were done here, the constructors replaced
windows, repaired utilities and replaced equipment. In addition, the territory
was landscaped and new canopies were installed.
The building and territory of the preschool are under
video surveillance around the clock, the rooms are equipped with emergency
exits, deputy head of the kindergarten Ralina Khabibullina told the Mayor.
The Mayor inspected the rooms for kids, each of them
has its own bathroom, as well as a place for serving meals.
On the walls of the kindergarten there are drawings
that help kids learn the Tatar alphabet and numbers. In addition, the preschool
won a grant for the installation of an interactive training complex, that will
allow children to play games and learn languages at the same time.
Fifteen kindergartens have been renovated in Kazan
this year.
Over the five years, 57 preschools have been renovated
in the capital of Tatarstan, I. Metshin reminded. “7,500 pre-school children
are being educated in such excellent conditions. Of course, there is still a
lot of work to be done, but we are pleased to see such a result and such
beauty. We are waiting for the kids and wish them to have a good time in this
kindergarten, while we will continue our work”.
