A unique project of comprehensive improvement was implemented in the
Sovetsky district of Kazan under the Our Yard program. After discussion with
the residents of the houses No.120, No.122, No. 124, No.126a and No.128 on
Pobedy Ave., zones and playgrounds for people of different ages were equipped
here, a modern football field and a sports ground were equipped, and the
Zvezdny Square located nearby was renovated. The Mayor of Kazan got acquainted
with the results of the improvement today.
Renovation in the yard was carried out throughout the summer, and they
began with the replacement of heating networks, said Denis Vorobyov, deputy
head of the administration of the Sovetsky district. Currently, about 2 km of
networks have been repaired. After that, the worn-out asphalt surface was
updated.
New playgrounds were equipped in the yard. At the request of residents, a
fenced football field was equipped by the property management company, and a
small playground with workout equipment was installed nearby.
Recreation areas are provided for the older generation. By the way, the the
entrance groups were also renovated, in which new doors were installed at the
expense of the property management company OOO UK Azino-Service, fronts were
repaired and lighting was restored. The yard has also become lighter at times –
68 lighting poles have been installed here.
The car owners received additional 69 parking spaces in the yard. During
the improvement, trees growing here were carefully preserved, and 95 new
seedlings were additionally planted. The office of the property management
company and the transformer substation in the yard was decorated with
spectacular graffiti. A new container platform for dual waste collection was
equipped here.
After visiting the yard, I. Metshin took a walk through the Zvezdny Square.
The decision to update it was made during meetings with residents and
discussion of plans for the improvement of the yard.
“We decided to improve the square so that not only for the residents of
this yard, but also the residents of the entire residential complex, - said
Denis Vorobyov. – It was no longer modern, there was not even a proper lighting.
Now it looks completely different: a stage for activities, an amphitheater,
benches are installed. Special paths separate the traffic flows of pedestrians
and those who ride bicycles and scooters.”
Ilsur Metshin commended the new public space and wished residents an active
leisure.
