I.Metshin: “If all young Kazan residents think like Eldar, we will be calm for our future”

The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met with the youngest participant of the competition for the position of chair of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs of the city. 12-year-old Eldar Giniyatov came to the meeting with his mother. In a family of three children, he is the eldest child, now he is studying at the poly-lingual school Adymnar. The boy also tries himself as a host on the Shayan TV channel for kids.

“When we received the application from Eldar, we were very surprised. And then we found out how active he is: he studies both Arabic and English, and also knows Tatar. I am glad that there are children with such ideas. If all young Kazan residents think like Eldar, we will be calm for our future. It is necessary to understand that our city can be well-maintained when not only the Mayor and his team will care about it, but also such young, very young Kazan residents as Eldar”, - I.Metshin said.

He asked why the boy decided to participate in the competition for the position of chair of the committee at such a young age. According to the school boy, first of all, he wants to become a useful member of society.

The parents of the young activist are entrepreneurs. According to his mother Adelya Giniyatova, his son has been very curious since childhood, in particular, he studies several foreign languages.

The Mayor thanked the boy for being an active citizen and presented him a series of books “The Live of Distinguished Children”. “My wish to you is to study well. Now the most important thing is education, it is necessary to lead an active life at school-sports, amateur art. And, of course, do not forget to help mom and dad raise the younger siblings. When you grow up, we will wait for you at the City Hall”, - I.Metshin said.
