In 2022, the Sports Park on the territory from the Millennium Bridge to the third transport dam from the Ak Bars Arena stadium will be developed. It will become part of a single ecosystem of coastal parks along the Kazanka River. The park became the winner of the vote on public spaces planned for improvement in 2022 in Kazan. The results were announced today at the Business Monday in the Executive Committee of the city.
"The procedure of the popular vote is a working mechanism for obtaining funding, - Ilsur Metshin said. – We have active residents, we encourage them to express their wishes, whether it is the overhaul of the yard, residential building or other spaces. Residents express their desire to make the city better place”.
From April 26 to May 30, Tatarstan portal of state and municipal services held a vote for public spaces and yards that will be landscaped in 2022, as well as a survey on the priorities of the strategy for the development of the Kazanka River to the Uram extreme park. The parks and squares with the highest number of votes will be landscaped according to the federal program “Development of a comfortable urban environment”.
The list of applicants includes the following territories: the third stage of the embankment of the Nizhny Kaban Lake, parks at the residential areas Salavat Kupere and Svetlaya Dolina, the boulevard on Volgogradskaya Street, the Komsomolets Park, the park on Noksinsky downhill and others. The development strategy of Kazanka includes 5 parks out of 12.
