A new bilingual kindergarten № 7 “Altyn Khujal” was opened in the Kirovsky district of Kazan. This is
the first preschool on the territory of the “Zalesny city” residential complex under
construction. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the new institution.
One of the largest kindergartens in the city for 340
children is designed for 18 groups.
The two-storey preschool has a well-equipped room for
parents, a medical room, a large food hall, assembly hall, sports and music
halls, functional areas, a computer class and a class for learning the Tatar
language.
“A new bilingual kindergarten for 340 children with 10
nursery groups is a real dream for parents, children and employees. And my
dream as well: finally, we see full equipment – music, sports equipment,
kitchen, amazing sleeping and playing areas”, - Ilsur Metshin said.
“Tatarstan and Kazan pay great attention to the
development of IT technologies. We believe it is useful to start preparing
children for this from a young age. Therefore, the priority direction of our
kindergarten is comprehensive development through IT technologies”, - said the
head of the institution Alsou Biktova. For this purpose, a computer class has
been established here.
Currently, 807 residents, including 291 children, live
in the four milti-apartment houses of the “Zalesny City” residential complex.
It is planned to build 26 multi-apartment residential buildings on this
territory, then the total number of residents here will be about 17 thousand
people. Currently, this is the first kindergarten in the “Zalesny City” residential
complex.
“Thanks to the Demography national project, Russian President
Vladimir Putin and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov for such gifts to our
children, - the Mayor of Kazan said. – We have gained pace – this year we have
built nine new kindergartens for 2,220 children. We will definitely continue
this work”.
