Kazan Mayor
Ilsur Metshin takes second place in the Mayor’s National rating on
January-March 2020. The research was conducted by the Rating Center for
information communications together with the Financial University under the
Government of the Russian Federation.
As part of
the study, experts evaluated activities of mayors of 88 regional capitals and
major financial and industrial centers of the Russian Federation. The National rating
of mayors engages the widest possible range of experts of various professional
and social origins.
First place
in the rating is taken by the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin. The top five includes
Ruslan Kukharuk, Tyumen Mayor, Maxim Ryashin , the Mayor of Khanty-Mansiysk and
Alexander Beglov, the Mayor of St.Petersburg.
For
information, Kazan regularly becomes the leader of numerous ratings. Thus, the
Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin headed the media rating of the heads of capitals
of the Volga Federal district on February 2020. At the end of last year, Kazan
was recognized as the best city in Russia for the living standards of the population.
