The law
enforcement officers being around the clock service at traffic police checkpoints
are provided with meals in Kazan. The Department of food and social nutrition
provides meals for them. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, who visited the
enterprise, noted that police officers work in the heavy security, so it is
very important to provide them with high-quality food.
For
information, 4 traffic police checkpoints are located at the entrances to Kazan.
They check the self-isolation regime compliance, which was imposed in Tatarstan
since March 30 to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
Rima Mukhamedshina,
director of the Department of food and social nutrition, said that hot meals
are provided to all 300 police officers serving in two
shifts. “Meals are delivered to the checkpoints in special thermos,
distribution is carried out in disposable dishes, and hand sanitizers are also
provided”, – R.Mukhamedshina said.
“Law
enforcement bodies are carrying out important service, I want to express my
gratitude to them, their work is crucial today, in particular, compliance with
the order and rules of self-isolation. Today, the workload of the medical staff
and enterprises that continue to work for the benefit of the sustainment of the
city – gas workers, electricians, employees of transport companies-has
increased significantly. A large number of people are working to ensure that
the city is provided with everything necessary for life in this important
period”, – I.Metshin said.
