June 14, Alina Berezhnaya). New names have been added to the Kazan Book of
Honor. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Presidium of the Kazan City
Duma in the City Hall, chaired by Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the Tatarstan’s
capital. Thus, they honored merits of Rustem Abyazov, the director and artistic
director of the Kazan Chamber Orchestra “La Primavera”, the AO “Scientific and
Production Association “Radio Electronics” named after V. Shimko”, and the MUP
“Vodokanal”.
Lyudmila
Andreeva, the deputy head of the Kazan Municipality, reminded that 100 names
were registered in the Kazan Book of Honor. There are the names of individual
citizens, enterprises, organizations, institutions, public organizations and
associations of the city that made a significant contribution to the
development of various fields of Tatarstan activity.
Rustem
Abyazov, the director and artistic director of the Kazan Chamber Orchestra “La
Primavera”, who has worked in the cultural sphere for many years, has become a
candidate for inclusion in the Book of Honor. Today the orchestra participates
in many international competitions. “Rustem Abyazov is a very talented person
who not only leads the orchestra, but also organizes various major festivals
and holds charity concerts”, noted L. Andreeva.
It is also
proposed to make an entry in the Book of Honor about the AO “Scientific and
Production Association “Radioelectronics” named after V. Shimko”. The company
has existed for about 70 years. It is leading in the development of state
systems and facilities with enhanced tactical and technical characteristics.
“The company is developing products that equip the armed forces of Russia and
the CIS countries with the most modern identification devices”, said L.
Andreeva. Today, the institution cooperates with KNRTU of A. Tupolev, shows
students the work at the enterprise.
It was also
proposed to note the contribution to the development of the housing and
communal services of the city of MUP “Vodokanal”. Lyudmila Andreeva marked that
the enterprise is one of the strategically important. It provides the
livelihoods of the entire city. In addition, significant projects are being
implemented at the Vodokanal, including work to eliminate the unpleasant smell
of sewage treatment plants.
The Mayor
of Kazan noted that all candidates deserve the highest praise and to be entered
in the Kazan Book of Honor. Members of the Presidium voted to add new names to
the Book of Honor.
