(KZN.RU,
June 3, Ksenia Shvetsova). This year Kazan will overhaul four children's camps:
“Zarechie”, “Vostok”, “Unitur”, and “Molodezhny”. 470 million rubles were
allocated from the budget of the republic for these purposes. After the repair
is completed, the capacity of the camps will increase by 1000 people per
season. The camp overhaul program will allow the capital of Tatarstan solving
the problems that have accumulated over decades in this area. Ilsur Metshin,
the Mayor of Kazan, said this today at the Business Monday. He reminded that
most of the Kazan camps are already more than half a century old.
Airat
Faizov, the chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, reported
on the implementation of the republican program of an overhaul, reconstruction
and construction of camps. The new program will allow Kazan to make a serious
breakthrough in the development of camp infrastructure and improve the
conditions for children's recreation, he noted. “For the first time, we had the
opportunity to include in the program activities the construction of sports
fields and landscaping with the construction of recreation areas, street scenes
and amphitheaters”, said A. Faizov.
This year,
it is planned to repair 4 Kazan camps. The year-round camp “Zarechie” is among
them. The work on the modernization of the camp began on the eve of the
Universiade 2013. During this time, they managed to overhaul the first
building, build a new two-story dining room with an assembly hall with a
capacity of 400 people, reconstruct two summer buildings, and carry out other
works. This year, 73.5 million rubles were allocated for the completion of a
repair in the camp.
“As early
as June 20, the remaining two buildings will be thoroughly repaired in
Zarechie”, said A. Faizov. “In the summer and autumn, other works will
continue, including the improvement of the camp area”. In addition, 5 new
street terrace will be built on the territory of Zarechie, which can be used
for activities for children. By the end of the year, another summer dormitory
with 36 beds will be constructed, he added.
The sports
infrastructure of the camp will also significantly improve. It is planned to
reconstruct the open football stadium and build an indoor year-round football
arena.
The camp
“Vostok”, built in 1967, will be fully renovated. 8 single-story buildings with
rooms for 5 people, a common living room, shower rooms and bathrooms in the
buildings will be built. In addition, a modern canteen and a club with a
capacity of 200 people, football and volleyball grounds, bicycle lanes will
appear in the camp.
The
reconstruction of the camp Molodezhny began last year. Today, all engineering
networks have been replaced, the first building and dining room have been
overhauled, a club has been built. Now there is the second stage of
reconstruction: repair of two buildings, construction of sports grounds,
landscaping. “All work is planned to be completed by the end of this year. As a
result, we will get a modern year-round camp with a capacity of 400 people”, said
the chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth.
A complete
reconstruction of all existing buildings is also will be carried out the camp
“Unitur”. Interestingly, a rope park will appear in the camp and a zone will be
set up where children can relax in 10 modern tents with a capacity of 3 people
each.
“Also,
furniture and equipment will be completely updated in the camps. After the
repair is completed, the capacity of 4 camps will increase by 1000 people per
season”, added A. Faizov.
In addition
to updating the camps themselves, this year it is also planned to repair access
roads to 7 Kazan municipal camps: “Molodezhny”, “Ogonyok”, “Berezka”,
“Pioneriya Tatarstana”, “Ekran”, “Molodaya Gvardiya”, and “Gagarin”. 60.8
million rubles were allocated from the budget of the republic for these
purposes, said A. Faizov. He added that the total length of the repaired tracks
will be 4.3 km.
The program
of renewal of children's country camps was especially long-awaited for the
capital of Tatarstan, noted Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. The largest
number of camps among other cities of the republic is in Kazan. “We are
accustomed to the fact that many issues are being systematically solved in the
republic. But we waited for the solution of this issue very long”, said I.
Metshin. “Our camps have served more than half a century. Today, almost four
billion rubles have been allocated for the repair of the four camps and plus 60
million rubles for access roads. We will not just bring the camps into the
proper state, but make them worthy of our children and youth thanks to the
support of President Rustam Minnikhanov”.
Today,
documentation is being prepared for the inclusion of camps in the overhaul
program for 2020. According to A. Faizov, six camps will be in it, including
the sports one “Ekran” and “Molodaya Gvardiya”.
