It is provided for children living in the territory assigned to the school and will last until the end of June. The second stage of receiving applications starts on July 1. It is intended for those who do not live in the assigned territory and will last until September 5. The Executive Committee draws a statement “On the assignment of schools to specific areas of the city” to account children to be educated in schools every year. This year, the number of children who will go to school for the first time has increased. If in 2018, more than 16.5 thousand children were admitted to the first grade, then about 19 thousand first-graders are expected in the new academic year. I. Khidiyatov reminded that children not younger than 6.5 years old and not older than 8 years old are admitted to the first grade. Children of other age can be accepted on the conclusion of the commission, which works at the Department of Education.

Parents of a child not attached to the school at the place of residence will be able to apply for admission from July 1. They must present their passport and the child’s birth certificate.

Parents can study the order of enrollment in the first grade within 7 working days after submitting the application at information stands and school websites. Also, parents have the opportunity to apply through the public services portal. In this case, you must submit the original documents to the school within 5 working days.

Parents may be refused admission to school only because there are no vacancies in it, marked I. Khidiyatov. He added that in case of refusal, parents should contact the district education department. In this case, experts will determine the nearest school, where there are free places.
