The International Specialized Exhibition “Doroga-2018” opened in the pavilion “Kazan EXPO”

(KZN.RU, October 17). The opening of the International Specialized Exhibition “Doroga-2018” was held in Kazan. The event took place on a new site in one of the pavilions “Kazan EXPO”. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Igor Levitin, an assistant to the President of Russia, Asgat Safarov, the head of the Presidential Administration of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and others took part in the ceremony.

In his welcoming speech, Igor Levitin, an assistant to the President of Russia, congratulated everyone on their professional holiday, the Day of Road Workers. This exhibition is the final report of the road workers over the past year, said Igor Levitin and recalled that the event is being held for the ninth time. According to him, an exhibition from Moscow moved to the region, to the RT, for the first time.

The new venue “Kazan EXPO” is a place where all the conditions are created for holding such events, said Igor Levitin. He also recalled that the opening of a section of the M-7 highway “Volga” had just taken place, which had been under construction for several years. The road of the first category is great, marked the assistant to the President of Russia. “We are building roads not for cars, but for people”, he concluded.

Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, thanked the Federal Highway Agency for the decision to hold the exhibition “Doroga-2018” in Tatarstan. This is a landmark event for us, said Rustam Minnikhanov.

Then the honored guests of the event pressed a symbolic button, thereby launching the specialized exhibition “Doroga-2018”.
