(KZN.RU, July 2, Ksenia Shvetsova). The large-scale work of modernization of medical institutions is continuing in Kazan. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted today at the Business Monday that in addition to overhauling the medical institutions, the need to introduce patient-oriented technologies has appeared a long time ago.
Ilnur Khalfiev, the head of the Health Department of the Ministry of Health of the RT for Kazan, reported that construction of the round-the-clock modern trauma center with an area of 486 square meters was started on the basis of the city hospital №18. The residents of the Privolzhsky and Sovetsky districts will receive medical care in it.
This year work on the organization of medical offices in new buildings will continue. Thus, the office of a pediatrician will be opened as a branch of the Children's City Polyclinic №4 in the RC “Salavat Cupere”. It is planned that such an office will appear in the RC “Solnechny Gorod”. In June, the office of a general practitioner opened in Voznesenskoe Settlement. The same office of a general practitioner and pediatrician will be built in Salmachi, where residents of nearby villages, including the village of Kuyki, will be able to apply for primary health care. It is planned to build an emergency medical station in Mirny.
In total, after the planned overhaul in 19 institutions, 90% of the primary healthcare network will be repaired in the city.
The work is under way to improve the provision of services, noted the reporter. The first stage of the project “Friendly Polyclinic – Tatarstan Standard”, which is called “Quick Measures”, is being completed in all medical organizations of the city. “Today, patients do not wait in a line at the registry. The patient routing is determined, streams are separated, after repairs, the comfort of staying in medical institutions has improved”, noted I. Khalfiev.
Elderly patients and children are given special attention within the framework of the project “Friendly Polyclinic – Tatarstan Standard”. A project of the “Children's Medical Cluster” is being developed within the organization of the work of children's polyclinics, which will include all children's medical organizations on the basis of a 3-level system of medical care.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, thanked the government of the republic for the program on capital repairs of medical institutions and noted that it will take time to introduce new approaches to work in updated clinics. “We really need the introduction of patient-oriented technologies, which our Ministry of Health has been working on for years. But it is one thing to proclaim, to realize is another. This is not easy, so we wish success to our colleagues, head doctors and their staff and will work together to improve the healthcare system”, concluded the Mayor.
