I. Metshin: “Tariffs of the “Kazenergo” for heat are among the lowest in the Volga Federal District”

(KZN.RU, March 12, Alsu Safina). Tariffs of the AO “Kazenergo” for heat in the second half of 2017 were lower than in other heat supplying organizations of major cities of the Volga Federal District. The approved tariff for heat energy was 1423 rubles/Gcal. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted at the Business Monday that these figures are pleasing. The head of the city reminded that a quarter of Kazan's consumers are supplied with heat from the “Kazenergo”.

Rustam Abdulkhakov, the general director of the enterprise, drew attention to the fact that heat supplying organizations that are comparable in terms of the amount of heat production and produced heat in boiler houses were selected for an objective comparison.

“Tariffs, whatever they are, are always high for the population because they have to pay monthly. But this picture in comparison with large comparable enterprises that produce heat in the boiler houses in the Volga Federal District shows that we have one of the lowest tariffs. This work should be continued”, said Ilsur Metshin.

The head of the city called the two-time decrease in the tariff for technological connection to the networks of the “Kazenergo” good news. “This is a sensation for the business of Kazan”, said the Mayor. He noted that such a task was set and it was done through internal reserves.

“I ask the rest of our enterprises of heat, water, and electricity supply to look carefully at their opportunities. For now, unfortunately, we always talk about the growth of tariffs, including for technological connection. And here is the result of a two-time decrease”, said the head of the city.

The general director of the “Kazenergo” spoke about the company's plans for 2018. 11 boiler houses and 7 buildings of boiler houses will be reconstructed, dispatching of 10 boiler houses and central thermal points will be carried out.

A large amount of work will be done on the boiler house “Kosmonavtov, 12”. “The reconstruction of this boiler house will make it possible to withdraw two neighboring boiler houses, which are morally and physically obsolete, and reduce the cost of producing thermal energy”, explained R. Abdulkhakov.

He said that the plans include the construction of more than 4 km and the reconstruction of 5 km of heating networks, as well as the modernization of more than 5 km of hot water supply networks. 3 km of heating networks were built and 12 km were reconstructed in 2017.

In addition, it is planned in 2018 to switch 7 residential houses and 2 kindergartens from the boiler house of the PAO “Kazan Helicopter Plant” to the boiler house “Uritskogo, 4” and 6 apartment houses from the boiler house MC “Prosto Moloko” to the boiler house “Olonetskogo, 5”.

“The main task for the “Kazenergo”, the “Vodokanal”, and other network enterprises of the city, which provide heat, light, electricity, is trouble-free work”, concluded the Mayor.
