Ilsur Metshin met with the staff of the plant “Elektropribor”

(KZN.RU, February 8, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, met with the staff of the OAO “Elektropribor” and told the company's employees about the results of 2017 in various spheres of urban economy.

Before the meeting, Pavel Shatskikh, the director of the OAO “Elektropribor”, conducted a tour for the Mayor in the mechanical shop №3. This is one of the main production divisions of the plant where machining takes place. The shop is equipped with modern three- and five-axis milling machines with software control. The Mayor, accompanied by Evgeny Varakin, the head of the Executive Committee's administration, Andrey Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration, and the plant's management inspected equipment and products, including technical developments.

Opening the meeting, the director of the “Elektropribor” expressed gratitude to the Mayor of Kazan on behalf of the collective and veterans of the plant. “The memories Still fresh memories of the celebration of our plant’s 100th anniversary are still lively. It was the right decision for the collective to include our plant in Kazan's Book of Honor. This is the highest award that can be earned by an enterprise operating in the city. This is a high estimation for our veterans, who made a significant contribution to the construction of housing, social facilities, kindergartens, and schools”, said Pavel Shatskikh.

The Mayor of Kazan noted that the “Elektropribor” is an enterprise with its traditions that produces high-tech products for aviation for 100 years. “Surviving the revolution, wars, and crises, your company was able to preserve its potential and take a unique place in a complex and highly competitive industry”, said the head of the city. According to him, the company's indicators show that it is developing, and at the same time, jobs are being preserved and production volumes are growing. “As a Mayor, I am pleased that not only the numbers but also the salary grew at the enterprise last year. Today it is above the average level in the city”, added Ilsur Metshin.

According to the Mayor, the situation on the “Elektropribor” and at other enterprises plays an important role in the development of the capital. “Thanks to you, Kazan is one of the few cities that not just preserved but also increased its revenue base in 2017”, said the Mayor.

The Mayor of the city told the workers in detail about the state of the city economy, the development of urban infrastructure, social sphere, as well as plans for the current year.

The workers of the enterprise actively asked questions concerning various aspects of life: construction of roads, the general plan of Kazan, transport, and others.

One of the workers of the enterprise lives in Derbyshki, at Khalezov Street, №21. “I would like to invite you for a visit so that you can see what is happening to our house with your own eyes. This is a phantom house, the management company doesn’t care”, she complained. In 2015, the house was renovated. However, according to the employee of the company, the basement and the entrance are in a bad condition.

According to the head of the city, the repair program for residential buildings includes a certain list of types of repair work. At the same time, tenants can influence what works will or won’t be performed, determine priorities for themselves. “I accept the invitation, I will come to you in the near future. We will see and decide on the spot. Let's look into the eyes of those who made repairs, including the management company”, promised the Mayor.

At the end of the meeting, the Mayor of Kazan thanked the staff for their work and noted that the significance of the work of the enterprise is growing every year. “You see it through your orders.
