The “Russian Ski Track-2018” will be held in Kazan on February 10

(KZN.RU, February 5, Mikhail Chentsov). The All-Russian mass race “Russian Ski Track-2018” will be held on February 10 in Kazan. The launches will take place on few sites: the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest park, in the floodplain of the Kazanka River along Gavrilov Street. This year, 73 regions of the Russian Federation announced their participation in the sporting event, said Svetlana Vostrikova, the head of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, on the Business Monday.

Svetlana Vostrikova also noted that the main start of the “Russian Ski Track-2018” will be given in Yudino at the stadium “Lokomotiv”. The opening of the competition is scheduled for 11 am.

“A special feature of the main site will be the possibility to pass the standard for running on skis of the All-Russia physical culture and sports complex “Gotov k Trudu I Oborone”, said S. Vostrikova.

In addition, a busy entertainment program will be prepared for the fans, a lot of prizes, horse-riding, performances of creative bands. “I take this opportunity to invite you to take part in this celebration and to show by your own example that Kazan citizens choose a sport and an active way of life”, Svetlana Vostrikova addressed her colleagues.

Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted that more and more citizens choose a healthy lifestyle. In his opinion, this is facilitated by the conditions created for sports in the capital of Tatarstan. “More and more people are entering the ski runs. Therefore, dear colleagues, we will continue to maintain healthy standards. I hope to see you on the “Russian Ski Track-2018”, said the head of the Tatarstan’s capital.
