(KZN.RU,
January 18, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the
kindergarten “Smart Kids”, which is a part of the MAOU “Lyceum – Engineering
Center”. The overhaul was carried out in a two-story building, built in 1978,
at Adel Kutuy, №86/1. The sundial and the intellectual-tactile site appeared on
its territory. Now about 100 children attend the updated kindergarten. The head
of the city inspected the premises for classes and talked with the children.
Venera
Khairutdinova, the director of the Lyceum, greeted the head of the city in
German and English and told him about the progress of the overhaul. Roof,
windows, inside doors, entrances, utilities, electrician, and low-current
systems were replaced in the building, the bathrooms, facades, and blinds were
repaired, and the shaded shelters were equipped. The Director thanked the
President of the RT for the program, within which the building was renewed, and
the Mayor of Kazan and the district administration for their work.
The
kindergarten can be rightfully called a unique one. Its feature is that the
innovative development of an educational institution is ensured in the
integration of linguistic and technological directions. As the director noted,
today is not possible without knowledge of native and foreign languages”. The
more languages a person knows the faster and more successfully he can socialize
into this world. And technical direction develops thinking.
The “Lyceum
– Engineering Center”, in addition to the kindergarten, includes the primary
language school where students of 1-4 grades continue to develop their robotics
skills, study English and German, as well as an engineering lyceum for
schoolchildren of the 5 grade and older. The technical direction is implemented
jointly with the KNRTU-KAI. Thus, the continuity of education is provided by a
single concept.
The
kindergarten opened after an overhaul in early December. Now 5 groups for 100
children are formed here. 12 teachers are engaged in their education and
training.
Ilsur
Metshin attended the robotics class of the senior group. The children showed
him their achievements. The Mayor greeted the children in the polylingual class
in English, and they sang the song in English to him. There are also clubs for
choreography, singing, painting, and taekwondo in the kindergarten. I. Metshin
examined the group unit, the sensory room, and the music room.
Landscaping
was conducted on the territory of the educational institution and non-standard
solutions were used. In particular, a sundial, an intellectual-tactile site,
and much more appeared there.
The Mayor
of Kazan thanked the contractor for the overhaul, the pedagogical staff for
working with children and wished them success in the future.
Rustem
Gafarov, the head of the Sovetskiy district administration, Ilnar Khidiyatov,
the acting head of the Department of Education, Elena Baranova, the head of the
kindergarten, and others also took part in the event.
Now 320
educational institutions operate in Kazan, implementing the program of
preschool education: 309 kindergartens, 2 pro-gymnasiums, and 9 schools with
pre-school departments. 86 institutions work in the pre-school sphere in the
Sovetsky district. The pre-school education program covers 70000 children (2-7
years), including more than 17000 in the Sovetsky district.
By the
decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in 2017, a
decade of childhood is declared. The task of the National Strategy of Action
for Children will find the continuation in it.
