I. Metshin: “The busy season begins for management companies”

(KZN.RU, November 20, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, instructed the managing companies to hold meetings with residents of apartment buildings on the eve of the winter at another Business Monday. He noted that from year to year, one of the current problems is cars in yards that sometimes prevent the cleaning of territories from snow. Heads of districts’ administrations need to monitor the conclusion of contracts for the removal of snow by business representatives and remind them of their obligations to maintain the territories in the proper manner.

“The busy season begins for the districts’ administrations, the Office of Administrative and Technical Inspection, and management companies. The weather so far spares us but there is no doubt that the winter will definitely come and with it will come in a large amount of work. So we need to prepare”, said the head of the city.

“I would like to draw attention to the problems that are solved year after year but are resolved differently in different micro-districts, neighborhoods, and yards. I mean cars in yards that interfere with the removal of snow and garbage”, said Ilsur Metshin. “Therefore, I ask the heads of districts’ administrations, the management companies to start this work in the interests of the residents themselves in the time left before the snowfalls”.

According to the Mayor, it is necessary to hold meetings and other events on the eve of snowfalls in order to reach agreements between management companies and residents of houses. At the same time, it is necessary to listen to the wishes of residents and car owners how to organize this work. “We need to try to establish a dialogue again so that there is an opportunity for timely cleaning of the territories. So far this is not our strongest side”, noted I. Metshin.
