(KZN.RU,
November 20, Alsu Safina). Winter maintenance of the yard territories of Kazan
will be provided by almost 3 thousand janitors in 55 contract organizations and
166 units of special equipment and small-scale mechanization, which housing
organizations have, said Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the
Executive Committee and the chairman of the Housing and Communal Services
Committee, today on the Business Monday.
He noted
that due to the improvement program implemented in Kazan, 47% of the yard
territories were put in order. Parking lots are created in the renovated yards,
which makes it easier to clean the driveways and sidewalks. “But still, the
problem of yards full of left cars remains”, he noted.
The duties
of janitors in winter include clearing of yard driveways, areas in front of the
entrances and pedestrian paths. “The necessary amount of inventory and
sand-salt mixture and reagents are available”, noted I. Giniyatullin. He urged
the management of Housing and Communal Services to pay attention to creating
conditions for workers, introducing new schemes of labor remuneration,
increasing the attractiveness of the profession due to the seasonal turnover of
janitors.
The
chairman of the Committee for Housing and Communal Services also said that at
present, 166 units of special equipment and small-scale mechanization are
available for housing organizations. For a year, the fleet of cleaning
machinery has grown by 11 units. The largest number of special equipment will
serve the territory of Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts.
According
to the current regulations, the house territory should be cleared of snow
within six hours after its fall. Snow during manual cleaning of sidewalks and
driveways should be cleaned completely.
In case of
poor cleaning, residents can apply to the organization that runs their house.
You can send the application on the website “Open Kazan” or by phone 236-4-123
or 063. If the measures are not taken, you must inform the public law
departments of the district’s administrations or the Administration of the
city's administrative and technical inspection. Employees of districts’
administrations and the Committee for Housing and Communal Services will
organize regular detours of surrounding areas to check the quality of the
cleaning. Appropriate response measures will be taken against violators of the
rules of improvement.
