November 15, Mikhail Chentsov). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, the chairman
of the Association of Volga Region Cities, was presented with the honorary mark
of the All-Russian Congress of Municipalities for merits in the development of
local self-government in the Russian Federation. The award was presented by
Mingsagit Shakirov, the chairman of the Council of Municipalities of the RT,
within the framework of the reporting and electing common meeting of the
members of the AVC, which was held today in the capital of Tatarstan.
In
addition, Ilsur Metshin received the gratitude of the Committee of the
Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the RF on the federal structure,
regional policy, local self-government and the affairs of the North for
significant contribution to the development of local self-government and
inter-municipal cooperation in the RF. Alexander Ivanov, the chairman of the
Union of Representative of Municipalities of the RF, presented the award to the
Mayor.
Evgeny
Arapov, the head of Orenburg, Vladimir Bykov, the chairman of the legislative
assembly of the Kirov region, Alexey Ladykov, the head of Cheboksary, Vladimir
Reprintsev, the executive director of the Association of Volga Region Cities,
received gratitude along with the Mayor of Kazan.
Also,
Andrey Kosolapov, the head of Volgograd, Viktor Kuvaitsev, the head of Penza,
Yuri Tyurin, the head of Izhevsk, and Alexander Printsev, the head Yoshkar-Ola,
received from Alexander Ivanov the gratitude of the State Duma Committee of the
Federal Assembly of the RF on the federal structure and local self-government
for a large contribution in the development of local self-government.
