Kazan entered the top 3 most popular destinations for tourists of the World Cup 2018
(KZN.RU, October 31). Kazan entered the top 3 most popular destinations for tourists organizing cities of the FIFA World Cup2018. The first two places consistently were taken by Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In addition to the three capitals, Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Ekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, and Volgograd also entered the top ten. The rating was compiled by the Russian Tvil.ru Reservation Website by the survey results of the accommodation facilities owners.
The Football World Cup will be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15, 2018. 1 million foreign fans are expected at the tournament. 12 matches of the championship will be held in Moscow, 7 matches in St. Petersburg, 6 matches in Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, and Sochi, 5 matches in Rostov-on-Don, and 4 matches in Volgograd, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg, and Saransk.
