October 13). The first Russian youth architectural biennale is taking place
these days in Innopolis (RT), where more than 300 young architects from Russian
regions and 11 countries presented their ideas for residential areas of a
comfortable city.
The
prestigious international jury selected 29 projects for the finals. Today
Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Mikhail Men, the minister of
Construction and Housing of Russia, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Natalia
Fishman, an assistant to the President of the RT, and others got acquainted
with the works of the finalists.
Mikhail Men
noted the project on the safe yard of Anastasia Yaremenko, the Kazan finalist
of the architectural competition. A multi-functional residential quarter from
participants from Ekaterinburg was presented among the works. “The gardens
located between the housing and the external environment turn residential areas
into such vertical towers, in which separate living cells are located”,
explained Sergey Choban, the chairman of the jury and the head of the
architectural bureau SPEECH.
Rustam
Minnikhanov appreciated the development of young architects and noted that some
solutions for building can be used in Tatarstan in the future, reports the
