The participants of the choreographic collective “Veselaya Carusel” were rehearsing in the choreographic hall. Nelli Konkina, the collective’s leader, told the Mayor that group sessions in the hall are held mostly in the evening. About 60 people are engaged in 4-5 groups at the age from 4 to 24 years. The Mayor was also told that the choreographic collectives actively participate in various city events, such as the Youth Day, the City Day, and others.

Then the head of the city inspected the gymnastics hall and a large concert hall where the rehearsal of the “Klakson Theater” was held. In total, 21 teams are engaged on the basis of the house of culture. today. There are sections in vocal, choreography, various sports, preparing for school. About 1250 children and adolescents visit sections. In addition, there is a choir of veterans.

The house of culture marked a big date last year, the 90th anniversary. The major repairs were carried out in 1996 last time in the building with an area of more than 3.5 thousand square meters. Yuri Tulaev, the director of the house of culture “Zheleznodorozhnikov”, said that audio equipment and Austrian chairs were installed in the big hall for 560 seats then.

Sergey Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration, spoke about plans to involve the house of culture in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Yudino. “Our goal is to develop the infrastructure for the convenience of the residents of the micro-district until the 100th anniversary. The main tasks are the repair of social facilities, the arrangement of public places, roads and housing stock”, he noted. He reported that documents are now being prepared to allocate funds for design and survey work to determine the cost of the repair.

The Mayor of Kazan also talked with the residents of the settlement. They shared their fears with Ilsur Metshin about the closure of the house of culture. The head of the city assured them that there is no reason to be afraid, and the house of culture will continue to work. “We did a great job, “won” the HoC. Now there is an agreement between the President of the RT and Oleg Belozerov, the president of the Russian Railways, that the house of culture will become our property.
