(KZN.RU,
October 6). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, came with a large bouquet of
roses to Lidiya Govorukhina to congratulate her on the Teacher's Day. Her
teaching experience is 50 years, and all these years she worked in the schools
of the Sovetsky district. Thousands of Govorukhina's former students now work
in the most diverse spheres of the city and republic. There are teachers,
scientists, and ministers among them.
“The
Teacher's Day is one of the most emotional holidays in Russia”, said the Mayor,
congratulating Lidiya Govorukhina “Thank you for your work, for the children
you brought up, for your love to the district, the school, and the city!”.
During the
conversation, the honored teacher told I. Metshin that she had graduated from
the History and Philology Faculty and never regretted the choice she had made.
She still leads an active life. She presides in the district council of
veterans of pedagogical work, formed at her initiative. And together with
colleagues, she is working on the book “Russia is famous for teachers, pupils
bring her to glory”. “Now we are conducting lessons for teachers, helping
lonely veterans”, she said.
Lydiya
Govorukhina has something to remember: from the “desperate 6A grade” of the
school №130, which is associated with her entry into the profession, to the
success of school №126, where she worked as a director for many years. She
passionately told the Mayor about her colleagues and students.
Ilsur
Metshin instructed Ilsur Khadiullin, the head of the Kazan Education
Department, to help with the release of the book’s first edition.
