The festive event dedicated to the International Teacher's Day was held in Kazan
(KZN.RU, October 6). The solemn event dedicated to the celebration of the International Teacher's Day was held today in Kazan in the GTRK “Korston”.
Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Mintimer Shaimiev, the State Councilor of the RT, Farid Mukhametshin, the chairman of the State Council of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Engel Fattakhov, the deputy prime minister of the RT and the minister of Education and Science of the RT, and other officials attended the event.
After the prolog, Rustam Minnikhanov addressed the representatives of the republic's education sphere with congratulations.
“Today we celebrate the Teacher's Day. This profession is very responsible and, of course, very necessary and complex. Only you know how difficult it is to teach!”, noted the President of the RT.
Human capital is the most important one, believes R. Minnikhanov. According to him, today the potential of any region is estimated not by finances or production capacities but by human capital.
“You are making a huge contribution to the success of the republic”, said Rustam Minnikhanov, referring to the teachers. “Our successes are based, first of all, on our educational system”.
“Children's preschool, school education, and higher education are our priority. We will give them great attention and support. The most important thing in our work is our teachers, it's you!”, marked Rustam Minnikhanov.
Further, the President of Tatarstan presented teachers the state awards of the RT: medals “For Valiant Labor”, honorary titles “Honored Teacher of the RT”. In total, 14 people were awarded.
During the event, Rustam Minnikhanov also congratulated on a professional holiday his first teacher, who was also in the hall, reports the press service of the RT President.
Mintimer Shaimiev, the State Councilor of the RT, congratulated the teachers on their professional holiday. “All words of deepest gratitude and many thanks to the teachers for bringing up and teaching how to multiply successes without losing respect for ourselves and for others at all times”, said Mintimer Shaimiev.
