The implementation of the projects “Strong Family” and “Elder Generation” was discussed in Kazan

The meeting of the political council of the Kazan local branch of the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russia political party “United Russia” was held today in the City Hall. The event was chaired by Ilsur Metshin, the secretary of the local branch of the party and the head of the capital of Tatarstan. 30 members out of attended the meeting. There was a necessary quorum for making a decision.

Seven issues were on the agenda of the meeting, which included the local party branch of the federal party projects “Strong Family” and “Elder Generation”.

Marat Urazaev, the coordinator of the municipal project “Kazan is the city of happy families”, the deputy chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, told the audience about the progress of the contest within the framework of the project “Strong Family”. He noted that 50 Kazan families took part in the contest, which was started on July 8. Both young and large families were among them. “Today it is important to raise the authority of the family, promote the values of family culture, and educate respect for family and marriage among the youth. The project “Kazan is the city of happy families” was developed to achieve these goals”, he said. During this project, families participate in sports, intellectual, and creative competitions. More than 150 families took part in the action “Family Photo”, which took place on August 30 on the City Day. “Now their photo albums are adorned with family photos that will last for many years. The final of the whole contest will be held on September 23 in the “Korston”, where participants will be awarded in the nomination “The Youngest Family” and “The Largest Family”, said the speaker.

Natalia Grechannikova, the head of the Executive Committee of the Kazan branch of the party, spoke about the implementation of the “Elder Generation” project. She noted that the party project “The Elder Generation” is being implemented to promote the improvement of the life and well-being quality of the older citizens of the RF. Thematic receptions of citizens of the older generation were held within the framework of this project and the Decade of the elderly person in 2016 on October 3-6in 7 public reception rooms of the Kazan local branch of the party. Employees of social protection services, pension fund, housing and communal services, lawyers, deputies took part in them. “This year we are continuing the implementation of this project. From 3 to 6 of October, the thematic receptions of the public will be held in reception rooms. And on October 23, the festival “Smile of wisdom” will be held at the NCC “Kazan”, in which the families of elderly people will take part”, she said and asked the audience to support the project.

In addition, the participants discussed the projects of non-profit organizations recommended for participation in the distribution on a competitive basis of subsidies from the budget of the R, the creation of a number of primary party branches in the Kirovsky district of Kazan, an open competition for the position of the head of the “Molodaya Gvardiya”, and other issues.

At the end of the event, Ilsur Metshin presented party tickets to new members.
