(KZN.RU, September 20, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the
Mayor of Kazan, inspected the construction of the metro station “Dubravnaya” at
the intersection of Zorge and Fuchik streets. Actual issues related to the
commissioning of the facility were discussed during the on-site meeting.
According to Marat Rakhimov, the general director of the AO “Kazmetrostroy”,
the completion of all works is planned by the end of the year.
M. Rakhimov said that the work was completed on the
construction of monolithic station structures in the amount of 27 thousand 209
cubic meters of concrete (vestibules №1, 2, platform area, ventilation unit,
etc.). Now the finishing and installation works are in full swing at the metro
station “Dubravnaya”. “After that, it is necessary to starting-up and
adjustment the equipment, providing constant power supply, so that everything
can be tested in the operating mode”, he said.
Ilsur Metshin, accompanied by Marat Rakhimov, Asfan
Galyavov, the general director of the MUE “Metroelectrotrans”, and Andrey
Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration,
went down into one of the station's vestibules and the platform where the
finishing works are underway. Workers are cladding the walls and floors of the
station, in addition, they are installing heating, ventilation, and sewerage.
The AO “Kazmetrostroy” and the OOO “PSO “Kazan” carry out works on the site.
Part of the work related to video surveillance systems, access control, payment
of travel, fire alarm, and a number of others, at the facility are carried out
by the MUE “Metroelectrotrans”. In addition, the company will improve the
territory above the metro station “Dubravnaya” after the completion of
underground work.
During the meeting, the Mayor of Kazan asked Asfan Galyavov
how the passenger traffic will change after the new station is delivered. The
head of “Metroelectrotrans” noted that the redistribution of passenger traffic
will take place between the stations “Prospekt Pobedy” and “Dubravnaya”. It is
assumed that 3-5 thousand people per day will pass through the new station. For
today, the passenger traffic of the underground is about 100 thousand people
per day.
Also, the Mayor inspected the office premises, stairways (5
entrances are planned at the station), lift shafts, which are equipped for
low-mobility groups of the population. The work is underway to build monolithic
structures for a prospective transition to the second line, the remaining
staircase station gatherings, and a prospective exit to the second line (the
volume of monolithic reinforced concrete structures is 723 cubic meters of
concrete).
The construction of the final station of the first
underground line “Dubravnaya” has been carried out since 2014. On March 20,
2015, the drifting of the right distillation tunnel “Dubravnaya” – “Prospekt
Pobedy” was started, which was successfully completed in the summer. On
December 23, 2015, the TPK “Lovat” started the tunneling of the left
distillation tunnel and completed it in April 2016.
