The new kindergarten for 340 places is being built in the Sovetsky district of Kazan

(KZN.RU, September 19, Anton Nozdrin). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the construction site of a new kindergarten, which is being built as part of the federal program “Housing” in the residential complex “ART City”. The establishment of preschool education is designed for 340 places and will open its doors in September 2018. The head of the city checked the work progress and noted the need to follow modern trends in the design of children's institutions.

165 children aged 0 to 7 years are registered in the kindergarten at the RC “ART City”, including 55 children from 3 to 7 years.

At the moment, works on the brickwork of the third floor, the construction of the foundations of shadow canopies are conducted in the building. Marat Arslanov, the director of the contract organization “Arstroy”, showed Ilsur Metshin the future premises of a preschool institution. The contractor noted that the kindergarten will be designed for 17 groups. The construction is scheduled for completion at the end of this year. M. Arslanov presented a sketch of the future building. “Originally the facade was gray and dull. But we redesigned this decision so that it turned out brightly and the kindergarten would fit into the environment”, said the contractor. The Mayor positively estimated the new decision of the facade.

Then Ilfat Gilfanov, the representative of the builder of the OOO “UK Unistroy”, told Ilsur Metshin about the progress of the construction of the residential complex. He noted that about 300 apartments out of 500 already inhabited in the first delivered house at the beginning of the year. At the end of the year, the second house of the complex will be delivered as well, three more houses are under construction.

I. Gilfanov noted that in the future, another kindergarten for 340 places and a school for 1500 places will be built on the territory of the complex. Also, a shopping center, stores, and other infrastructure will appear there. The developer plans to equip the road in the complex, which will connect the streets P. Lumumb and Kosmonavtov. According to Ilfat Gilfanov, the road will be built along with houses in the area. In total, the complex will consist of 21 residential buildings with a total area of apartments of about 240 thousand square meters.

The Mayor examined the inhabited house and the territory nearby. Children's and sports grounds for people of different ages are already made in the yard area.

The Mayor noted the modern approach to the complex development of the territory when residential houses are being erected simultaneously with social facilities and improvement of the adjacent territories. He said that all the developers agree with this demand of the city today. And this significantly increases the comfort for new inhabitants.

The preschool education network of Kazan includes 320 educational organizations that implement the preschool education program. About 68 thousand children visit kindergartens. Currently, 2 more kindergartens are being built in the city: in the RC “Vesna” (340 places) and RC “Stantsiya Yubileinaya” (220 places).

Rustem Gafarov, the head of the Sovetsky district’s administration, Ilsur Khadiullin, the head of the Education Department, and others also took part in the meeting.
