(KZN.RU, September 7). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan,
visited one of the large families of the Kirovsky district within the framework
of the Good Week, which started in the city on September 4. The Mayor visited
Roman and Natalia Osokins, who raise four children. The head of the family
works as a rescuer in the EMERCOM of the RT, and his wife is on leave for
caring for a small child.
Ilsur Metshin congratulated the children on the new academic
year and presented gifts. First-grader Yaroslav received a bicycle from the
hands of the Mayor. Eldest daughter Anastasia, a college student at the TISBI,
a fourth-grader Arseny, and a baby Ilya also received the gifts.
Having gained courage, Yaroslav asked Ilsur Metshin to sign
in his Diary of Good Deeds. All first-graders of the city received those bright
illustrated books on September 1. The project is being implemented since 2016
and teaches children to start the day with a good deed. Ilsur Metshin told
Osokins in detail about the projects “Good Kazan” and the Diary of Good Deeds.
“Adults are difficult to re-educate. And we want to instill a culture of good
through children. If children do good things from school, we will have a
completely different society and another city. I'm sure of it”, said I. Metshin
and cited as an example positive feedback of other parents about the project.
“Parents say about their child: he will take out the garbage, sweep the floor,
then do some other things to paste the sticker into the Diary”, said the head
of the city and added that children are more likely to help their parents in
the form of a game.
They also talked about lessons of good, which are conducted
these days in the city's schools by well-known media personalities, sportsmen,
representatives of charitable foundations, the City Hall staff. The Mayor of
Kazan held such a lesson on September 5 at the lyceum №83 of the Privolzhsky
district. According to Sergey Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovky
districts’ administration, the lessons of good passed in 29 educational
institutions of the districts.
The children told that they are preparing various crafts for
charitable school fairs of good. Such fairs will be held in Kazan on Saturday,
September 9 at the sites of city parks: the Gorky Central Park of Culture and
Leisure, the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky Forest, the “Kontinent”, and the “Sosnovaya
Roscha”, and on the pedestrian street of Kayum Nasyri in the Staro-Tatarskaya
Sloboda.
They talked about children's hobbies as well. All the older
Osokins’ children are engaged in karate. They showed the Mayor their medals,
won at the competitions. The children also shared with the head of the city
their plans for the future, who they would like to become in adulthood. Arseny
said that he wants to learn the automobile business, and Yaroslav wants to
become a driver.
Ilsur Metshin noted that a large family is a great
responsibility but also a great happiness. “You are great fellows! I wish
happiness and health to your family, let all your children grow up like you,
wonderful and loving”, wished the Mayor.
