(KZN.RU,
September 5, Mikhail Chentsov). Today on the International Charity Day, Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, conducted a lesson of good in 1 “A” grade of the
physics and mathematics lyceum №83 of the Privolzhsky district. First-graders told
the Mayor about what good deeds they had already written in their Diaries of
good deeds, which they received as a gift on September 1 from the head of the
Tatarstan’s capital. The Mayor told the first-graders about the Fair of Good
and gave the advice to start the day with a smile and a kind attitude towards
their parents.
Lessons of
good in Kazan schools are held for the second year during the autumn Good Week,
within the framework of the project “Good Kazan”. This year more than 100
famous Kazan citizens hold them for first-graders of all schools of the city:
athletes, artists, prominent public and state figures. Hockey players of the
“Ak Bars” Vladimir Tkachev, Andrey Chebyshev, and Stanislav Galeev and Elmira
Kalimullina, the finalist of the show “The Voice”, an Honored Artist of the RT,
are among them. The children have already been told about good deeds by
Anastasia Fattakhova, the head of the personal development environment
“Motivatika”, Liliya Galimova, the TV presenter of GTRK “Tatarstan”, Svetlana
Kostina, the correspondent of the Channel One Russia in Kazan, Yulia Turanova,
the editorial director of the online magazine “Inde”, and presenters of the
“BIM-radio” Valery Boutrov, Artem Rychov, and Airat Zagriev.
During the
lesson of good, Ilsur Metshin asked the first-graders what good deeds they had
done over the past summer and the first school days. It turned out that there
were a lot of such: each of the 38 young lyceum students was ready to tell the
Mayor about their good deeds.
“It is not
so difficult to make good deeds, you just need a great desire. And I see that
you have it. I'm very happy for you. If you do good deeds from the first day,
from the first class, then the city will be the most kind. Be sure to help
those who need it”, said Ilsur Metshin and gave the first-graders advice to
start their day with a smile and a good attitude to their parents. The Mayor of
Kazan also invited them to attend the fair of good.
After the
lesson of good, Dilyara Bikueva, the director of the Lyceum №83, held a tour of
the educational institution for the Mayor. In the school restaurant, Ilsur
Metshin talked with chefs and high school students, who were on duty and helped
kitchen workers to set the tables on that day. Future graduates told the Mayor
that many of them are going to continue their studies in Kazan, choosing a
technical profession in one of the universities of the city. The Mayor
supported them, noting that the country needs good specialists in this sphere.
In
addition, Ilsur Metshin met with Khamzey Kildeev, a teacher of geography and
economics, who runs a tourist club on the basis of the lyceum for 30 years.
Over the years, schoolchildren have made a number of sports and categorical
campaigns, including the Mountainous Crimea, the Southern Baikal region, the
mountains of Karatau (Kazakhstan) and the Caucasus, East Sayan, etc. The
teacher showed the Mayor a school collection of minerals, talked about the
tourist club and shared his dream to visit Kamchatka with children. The Mayor
of Kazan promised to help in organizing the campaign.
At the next
stop of the tour, the students of the 11 IT grade Nikita Kalyanov and Mikhail
Kuznetsov presented their inventions to I. Metshin in the room of informatics.
They presented robotics, which is able to go around obstacles, and also to move
along the line.
Lessons of
good were held in different schools be representatives of the Kazan City Hall
as well. Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Kazan Executive
Committee, Evgeniya Lodvigova, the first vice Mayor of Kazan, Airat Faizov, the
chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, Daria Sannikova, the
director of the Tourism Promotion Committee, and Alsu Karyakina, the director
of the Directorate of Parks and Squares of Kazan. Leaders of the largest
charity funds of the city also volunteered to tell the first-graders about
good.
Last year,
the Mayor of Kazan held a lesson of good for the children of 1 “B” class at the
gymnasium №27 in Vakhitovsky district, and earlier – for pupils of the gymnasium
№90.
The project
“Diary of Good Deeds” has been implemented since 2016 and is a system of
motivating children for good deeds. The online platform дневникдобрыхдел.рф
operates simultaneously with the printed version of the diary, at which the
project users share their good deeds and participate in contests in the format
of a social network. The project received flattering reviews from
representatives of non-profit and charitable organizations even in the first
year of its implementation. In particular, Elena Topoleva, the director of the
Agency for Social Information, noted that she had not seen such a project as
the “Diary of Good Deeds” anywhere else.
