(KZN.RU,
August 23, Mikhail Chentsov). Kazan and Tatarstan can become sites for the
promotion and collection of proposals for the modernization of obsolete federal
education standards. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, announced this today at
the 95th city August conference of educators in the Volga Academy of Physical
Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
Traditionally,
the teachers discuss and analyze the achieved results, exchange opinions, and
set tasks for the new school year at the August conference of educators.
Problems in the education sector were discussed as well.
This year,
Ildar Imamov, the director of the lyceum №177 of Novo-Savinovsky district of
Kazan, was one of the participants of the conference and shared his experience
with colleagues. The director told the audience about the management strategy
that can make the school successful. He emphasized several organizational
solutions, which are crucial in the development trajectory of the child. “More
than 20 years of experience as a school director allows me to state this: the
main thing that determines the success of a child's study is his initial
readiness for this. If this preparation proves to be insufficient, the child
will have difficulties already from the first days of training, which subsequently
lead to failure in education”, said I. Imamov.
The speaker
also shared the experience of the lyceum on the formation of classes, in which
children of different training levels are study, and talked about the group
method of teaching.
In
conclusion, he raised the issue of obsolescence of a number of federal
standards. The director cited as one of the examples the Health and Safety
lessons of the. According to him, it is necessary to start teaching children
the basics of cybersecurity in these classes.
Ilsur
Metshin agreed with the speaker's opinion, noting that Kazan and Tatarstan
could become a platform where various proposals for the modernization of the
education sector will be developed. “Both you and we work within the framework
of the federal standard, and it's a sluggish machine. In fact, it is necessary
to teach children not only to put gas masks on, there are new tasks. And these
federal standards need updating”, marked the Mayor of Kazan. According to him,
otherwise the education system will not follow the realities and will stay
behind.
“I want to
emphasize once again that it is important to meet and discuss such issues. It's
good that we looked at ourselves in this conversation and saw what should be
done”, said the Mayor.
