The Mayor of Kazan inspected the readiness of the new school in the RC “The Sedmoe Nebo”

(KZN.RU, August 9, Alsu Safina). A new multi-profile school №181 in the RC “The Sedmoe Nebo” will open its doors on September 1 in Kazan. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, inspected the readiness of the object, which was a long-awaited for the residents of the Sovetsky district.

Students of this school will study in depth the number of subjects, depending on the needs of parents and the labor market. Training there will be built taking into account the profile of education: in physics and mathematics, chemistry, biology, information technology, and humanities. Also, the music school will work on the basis of an educational institution.

The construction of a 3-storey school building with an area of about 25.5 thousand square meters began in October last year under the federal special-purpose program “Housing”. For today, finishing works on the site are completed. Gazinur Akhmetov, the general director of the contract organization OOO “Ak Tash”, reported that it is planned to completely finish the work on August 23-25.

The Mayor of Kazan inspected the school and visited the premises where the dining room for 274 square meters will be located, a pool with two bowls of 940 square meters, and one of the two sports halls where oak parquet is currently being laid. There will be volleyball, basketball, and futsal training, and in a small sports hall – badminton and other sports games. In addition, the school has an assembly hall for 560 persons, a choreographic room, and a radio studio.

According to the project, the school is divided into the primary block and the block of the middle and senior level. The primary block in addition to the classrooms includes sleeping rooms, a library, recreation unit, where extra-curricular activities will be held. According to the federal education standards of the new generation, the primary school will work under the program “Perspective”.

The block for the middle and senior level will be located in a separate part of the building. It consists of study rooms, lecture rooms, and a language lab.

“Residents of the Sovetsky district, especially of the micro-district “XXI century”, have been waiting for this school for a long time”, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, shared his impressions. “The school is equipped with everything necessary. There are spacious light classrooms, corridors, there is everything for sports: gyms, swimming pool, and summer open areas. Everything is as it should be in the XXI century. All the work will be completed before September 1, and teachers will be able to prepare for the meeting of first-graders and other students”.

26 classes from the 1st to the 8th are completed in the school on August 7. They recruited 604 children. The largest number of children (175) came in 1 class. The admission of children to school continues, noted Ilsur Hadiullin, the head of the Department of Education.

Rustem Gafarov, the head of the Sovetsky district’s administration of, Marat Samigulin, the head of the Department for Capital Construction and Reconstruction, Marat Aizatullin, the director of the State Property Committee “The Main Investment and Construction Administration of the RT” visited the new school together with the Mayor of Kazan.

This year, two schools will be delivered in the capital of Tatarstan: in addition to the school №181, there will be one on Azinskaya 2nd Street for 1224 children.
