The Mayor of Kazan inspected the overhaul process of the kindergarten №165

(KZN.RU, June 27, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, got acquainted with the process of the overhaul of the kindergarten №165 in the Novo-Savinovsky district. Work in the preschool educational institution will be completed by the end of summer.

The Mayor of Kazan decided to include this preschool institution in the overhaul program for 2017 during his visit in November last year. Then, a passage wall and one of the wings were in emergency condition, and the roof required repair. The cracks were not only on the facade but also inside the building. In addition, by the request of the Rospotrebnadzor, repairs of the walls, the flow, and the ventilation system in the kitchen unit were required.

The kindergarten in the Kollectivnaya Street, №25a is located in two buildings of 1960 and 1967 years of construction, combined with a passage. It was never repaired since the construction.

Svetlana Belova, the head of the kindergarten, told the Mayor that one of the walls was completely demolished during the repair of the kitchen. “When they removed the plaster, it turned out that there was a leak, a crack appeared”, she explained. A new wall will be installed instead. Now the repair work in the kindergarten is in full swing. They began in January with the replacement of windows. Ilsur Metshin drew attention to the fact that the premises became lighter due to new windows.

Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee and the chairman of the Housing and Utilities Committee, noted that in general, the work in the kindergarten is done by 70% and will be completed by the end of the summer. As Svetlana Belova said, the work is also carried out on weekends to stay in accordance with the scheduled date and the start of the new school year.

“It's the sight for sore eyes! We are as happy as you are. Children will go back here like in a fairy tale”, the Mayor shared his impressions of what he saw. “I remember well how it was before and what changes have taken place, these are two big differences”.

The Mayor reminded that these transformations became possible due to the President of the RT. By his decision, 530 million rubles were allocated this year for the overhaul of 8 Kazan kindergartens, located in 9 buildings.

Svetlana Belova told the Mayor that both teachers and children are waiting for the time when they can return to their favorite kindergarten. The kindergarten is designed for 180 children, and the number of pupils will remain the same after the renovation of buildings. Now the children are distributed to other kindergartens, located in the same micro-district.

In conversation with the employees of the kindergarten, the Mayor noted that the renovated kindergarten requires new furniture and equipment. “This problem remains to be solved. The president of RT hears us, there is an understanding. The commission is given, so we will work it through”, promised I. Metshin.

In the end, he instructed to work out the way to improve the territory of kindergartens, where the overhaul is carried out this year.

Ilsur Hadiullin, the head of the Education Department, Timur Alibaev, the head of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts’ administration, Minnegarai Nasibullin, the general director of the contractor organization “Remontstroyservis”, also inspected the progress of the work.
