June 26, Alsu Safina). Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the RT, got acquainted
with the overhaul of houses №59 and 61 on Vosstaniya Street and repair of the
premises in Korolev Street, where one of the city's public points of law
enforcement moved. The head of the republic together Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor
of Kazan, also visited the administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky
districts of the city. The President was told about the work of the Operational
Management Center and presented the projects of the reconstruction of the city
squares developed by KSUAE students.
Sergey
Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration, told
the President of the RT that a survey was conducted among the tenants of the
house before the work began, and their opinions were taken into account.
CCTV
cameras installed on houses, and new entrances are designed to ensure security.
More than 1.5 thousand video cameras were installed in the districts.
The
President of Tatarstan noted that these houses can become exemplary when
carrying out overhaul and improvement in the city. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of
Kazan, thanked the head of the republic for the opportunity not just to
overhaul the houses but also to equip the yards.
After that,
Rustam Minnikhanov, the head of the republic, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of
Kazan, together with Artem Khokhorin, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the
RT, and Alexey Sokolov, the head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in
Kazan, visited the public points of law enforcement at Academic Korolev Street,
№ 43. The PPLE moved there after the repair. The new premises completely
overhauled, redevelopment was done, offices, a toilet, a restroom, a meeting
hall were arranged. The President met with Ivan Blachenkov, the head of the
PPLE. In total, it is planned to overhaul four PPLE in the Kirovsky and
Moskovsky districts this year.
Next
visiting point of the President of Tatarstan RT was the Kirovsky and Moskovsky
districts’ administration. Sergey Mironov showed Rustam Minnikhanov the stands
with infographics, located in the lobby, told about the work of the electronic
queue. He drew attention to the fact that about 20 services can be provided to
residents of the city directly in the lobby, this allows excluding of about 20%
of calls already at this stage.
The head of
the republic was particularly interested in the operational control center. The
head of the districts’ administration explained that the idea of improving the
quality of work in the systems of “People's Control’ and “Open Kazan” came from
Sariya Saburskaya, the human rights commissioner in the RT. She oversees the
work of the “People's Control”.
“Everything
started with the fair criticism of the city’s security due to the fact that we
have only a few cameras. This year, we will equip all apartment buildings”,
said Ilsur Metshin. “We’ve realized that the possibilities are much wider. This
is not only a matter of security but also control over contractors”.
The Mayor
explained that now contractors cannot mislead anyone because the information
comes in on-line mode.
Also, the
head of districts’ administration and the Mayor of Kazan together with
representatives of the PAO “Tattelecom” discussed with the President of the RT
the possibility of installing cameras at inter-quarter passageways and at
container sites in urban settlements.
Rustam
Minnikhanov was presented with projects for the reconstruction of parks and
squares that were not included in the national program, made by students of the
KSUAE during the year. The President approved cooperation with students, noting
that young people need to be involved in the implementation of such projects.
In
addition, Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the reconstruction project of
the Cultural and Sports Center “Moskovsky” and a bicycle route project from
Vakhitov Str. through the Krasnokokshaiskaya, Frunze streets, and Gorkovskoye
Highway to the Lebyazhie Lake.
According
to Rustam Minnikhanov, work on the overhaul of facilities should be carried out
in conjunction with the improvement of the adjacent territories. “Programs for
the next year are already being formed. We must estimate where the urban environment
should be improved”, believes R. Minnikhanov.
