(KZN.RU,
June 5, Mikhail Chentsov). In 2017, more than 26.5 thousand children will rest
in health facilities in Kazan. School camps will traditionally take the bulk of
children: 14128 young Kazan residents will rest in 155 camps. Ilnur Halfiev,
the head of the Health Department of the Ministry of Health of the RT in Kazan,
informed about this today during the traditional staff meeting in the City
Hall.
As the
speaker said, 9940 children will rest in 24 suburban camps, and 1800 young
Kazan residents will spend the summer in 145 labor and recreation camps. In
addition, 440 children will rest in 2 tent camps and sanatorium shifts in 9
hospitals will receive another 442 children. In addition, this summer it is
planned to send 1100 Kazan children to sanatorium treatment for children's
sanatorium permits and “mother and child” permits through the Ministry of
Health of the RT.
I. Halfiev
noted that according to the results of the summer health campaign in 2016, a
marked improvement in health was achieved for 55.6% of children, slightly marked
– for 34.9%, and only 9.5% of children had no effect. According to the speaker,
this testifies to the competently organized summer rest of children, which contributes
to the strengthening of the immune system of young Kazan citizens.
The speaker
also raised several topical issues that make it difficult to recruit medical
personnel to work in the camps. For example, the residence of workers in
medical centers, which do not always have suitable conditions for housing, the
lack of technical personnel for cleaning the medical center, low salaries, etc.
“Our doctors go to the camp instead of their annual vacation: they take leave
and go there. They are forced to pay for food, they cannot take a child with
them, and they have a fairly low salary”, I. Halfiev addressed the Mayor.
Ilsur
Metshin complained that this issue was not raised earlier and instructed the
deputy heads of the Executive Committee, together with the Committee on
Children and Youth Affairs to find a solution to this problem. “Study and make
suggestions on how we can resolve this issue”, said the head of the city.
The Mayor
also added that the problems during the summer health campaign are resolvable.
As a positive example, he cited the issue of licensing medical rooms in
children's camps, which until recently was quite acute. “Finally, a solution
has been found and the issue will be resolved in the near future. First aid
should be provided in appropriate conditions. So the medical rooms should be
equipped and brought into appropriate conditions in accordance with GOSTs and
standards along with the nutrition supply unit”, the Mayor summed up and
instructed to keep this issue under control.
