The Head of EMERCOM of RF examined the equipment and armament of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of RF on RT
(KZN.RU, April 18). Vladimir Puchkov, the Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, today visited the football stadium “Kazan Arena” as part of a working visit to the capital of Tatarstan. The Head of the EMERCOM of Russia examined the readiness of equipment and weapons of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan and specialized equipment of the Ministry of Ecology of the RT on the site in front of the arena.
V. Puchkov was accompanied by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, Alexei Pesoshin, the Prime Minister of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and others. The head of the EMERCOM of Russia examined firefighting equipment on the basis of the heavy trucks “KAMAZ”, retractable fire ladders, mobile laboratory complexes, and other special equipment, involved in the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations, reports the Tatarstan Government Portal.
V. Puchkov arrived in Kazan to hold a meeting of the working group of the Government Commission and the Government of the RT on the readiness of forces and means to ensure the security of the Confederations Cup matches.
In addition, the head of the EMERCOM of the RF and his entourage will take part in the tactical and special exercises of the Kazan city unit of the TAP RSChS of the RT for the liquidation of emergency situations, caused by spring floods, within the framework of the second stage of the command post exercise.
