The first stone in the base of the gas distribution station “Bogorodskoe” was laid in the Pestrechinsky region
(KZN.RU, April 17). Today Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, took part in the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the future gas distribution station (GDS) “Bogorodskoe” in the Pestrechinsky region. The facility will be built within the framework of the investment project for the reconstruction of the Minnibaevo-Kazan gas pipeline on the section 220-285 km.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Albert Karimov, the deputy Prime Minister of the RT and the Minister of Industry and Trade of the RT, Irek Faizullin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the RT, Rafkat Kantyukov, the general director of the OOO “Gazprom Transgaz Kazan”, and Eduard Diyarov, the head of the Pestrechinsky municipal region, were present at the festive event.
“This is a significant event for our republic”, Rustam Minnikhanov said in his welcoming speech: “Effective gas supply is an important component of every major project being implemented in Tatarstan. The power of the gas distribution station “Bogorodskoe” will allow us to solve all the tasks that are planned for the next 50-70 years”.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the performance of the new gas distribution system will be more than 5 billion cubic meters per year, which will save problems with gas shortage in the residential and industrial areas in Kazan, Pestrechinsky and Laishevsky regions.
The President of the RT separately thanked the staff of the “Gazprom Transgaz Kazan”. “Over the past few years, the company has solved all main problems, including in Innopolis and in the Nizhnekamsk area”, he said.
Rafkat Kantyukov added that the implementation of this project will provide an opportunity to increase the reliability of gas supplies to consumers and thereby contribute to the development of the territories of the RT.
Then the President of Tatarstan and the general director of the OOO “Gazprom Transgaz Kazan” established a symbolic stone in the foundation of the gas distribution station “Bogorodskoe”. It is planned to complete the construction in November 2017, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
