The annual general meeting of shareholders of the OAO “TAIF” was held in Kazan
(KZN.RU, April 17). The annual general meeting of shareholders of the OAO “TAIF” was held in Kazan. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, took part in the event.
Albert Shigabutdinov, the general director of the company, made a report on the activity results of the group of companies the “TAIF” and the OAO “TAIF” for 2016. He noted that the past year was not an easy one for a group of companies, and it was necessary to mobilize resources to carry out the set tasks in the conditions of economic instability and the ongoing crisis.
In general, the investment activity of the group of companies “TAIF” in 2016 was focused on projects of strategic importance for the region's economy.
A. Shigabutdinov marked that the activities results for 2016 confirmed the effectiveness of the chosen development strategy. He thanked the shareholders and members of the Board of Directors for their high trust and assistance in implementing the projects.
The annual report, the annual financial statement, including a report on financial results, the distribution of profit, based on the results of the financial year in 2016, were approved at the meeting. The new Board of Directors of the OAO “TAIF” was elected.
Rustem Sulteev, the first deputy general director of the OAO “TAIF”, was again elected the chairman of the Board of Directors by the suggestion of R. Minnikhanov at the meeting of the new Board of Directors, which was held after the shareholders meeting. The authority of A.
