(KZN.RU,
March 16). Two new schools in Kazan should take students in the new school
year. It is planned to complete and pass the school on the street 2nd Azinskaya
by this time. Another school, scheduled for the opening, is located in the
neighborhood “Sed’moe Nebo”. In total, four general educational institutions
for 4896 places will be built in Kazan under the federal program for the
construction of schools until 2020. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, reported
this during the program “Theme” on the TV channel "Efir".
The TV
viewer asked the Mayor the question of schools’ building. “We moved to the 2-nd
Azinskaya three years ago and, buying an apartment, hoped that the school would
appear soon. But the construction kept stopping and resuming, and this year we
are already going to school and yet do not know which one. Other schools are
far away, and I would like to ask you if we will have a school? Thank you”, the
woman addressed to the head of the city.
Ilsur
Metshin assured that the school on the street 2nd Azinskaya will be completed,
despite interruptions in financing. “We counted on that federal program, which
Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, voiced in his statement in 2015. And
then the first federal money came, and this school will be built on them.
Today, roofing works are carrying out there, I recently visited the
construction site, and I have no doubt that the school will be completed.
Previously, the private sector was located in this territory, and today, it
grows up by new buildings, and, of course, by children. This makes me happy.
Usually we open a set for schools in February, and I hope, will start from
April in this school. Our respected viewer will be able to apply a child to
this school”, said the Mayor.
The head of
the city noted that, in general, four schools for 4896 places will be built in
Kazan under the federal program for the construction of schools until 2020
(including on the street 2nd Azinskaya). “But the shortage is huge, though. 35%
of schools work in two shifts, and according to the educational standard, all
schoolchildren must study in one shift. For comparison, less than 10 thousand
children were born in Kazan in 1998, and last year - over 25 thousand children.
There is a problem. We solved the question of queues in kindergartens for
children older than 3 years thanks to the presidential program “Beleketch” and
the federal road map, but problems remain in schools. There is no such a
difficult situation in Tatarstan as in Kazan. The problem is complex but
solvable”, concluded the Mayor.
