I. Metshin took part in the meeting of the District Advisory Council on the Local Government Development
(KZN.RU, March 3). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, attended a meeting of the District Advisory Council on the development of local government, which was held today at the Congress Hall of Ufa, chaired by Mikhail Babich, the plenipotentiary representative of President of the RF in the Volga Federal District.
Rustem Khamitov, the President of Bashkortostan Republic, representatives of regional and municipal authorities also attended the meeting.
The theme of the meeting was the main trends in the activities of the local self-government bodies on interaction with the public. The participants also discussed the topical issues of improvement of urban areas and the creation of an enabling of environment for life.
