(KZN.RU,
February 25). Attention will be paid to the modernization of the primary health
care institutions in Tatarstan this year. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of
Tatarstan, said that the program will be adopted, today at the XIII session of
the Kazan City Duma.
After the
report on the results of 2016, which was delivered by Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor
of Kazan, deputies asked their questions. In particular, Sergei Cherepanov, the
member of the Coastal constituency, drew attention to the following issue in
the health sector. Kazan citizens complain that it is difficult to get an
appointment to specialists in hospitals. The queue is 1.5-2 months even in
children's polyclinics. The deputy also noted the need to build a new health
center in Kazan. Primary problems are not solved, especially in the new
districts, he said.
Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, confirmed that a problem exists with the primary
element, and it is not only the capital of Tatarstan, but the entire country's
health system. He said that last year 2.2 billion rubles were allocated from
the republican budget for the repair and construction of health facilities, and
staffing of medical personnel was 77.2%, which is the maximum value of this
indicator over the last 5 years.
Rustam
Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, said that it is planned to launch a
new program this year, designed to solve the problems listed above. “We have
upgraded the largest medical centers, put in order, but the question with the
clinics remains open. I think this year we will launch the program”, said R.
Minnikhanov.
