(KZN.RU,
February 6, Alsu Safina). It is necessary to pay attention to all stages of the
formation of professional athletes, said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, at
today's Business Monday. According to him, this issue is increasingly sounds at
different levels, including the federal. “The work is not easy, but without it
there will not be results and leadership of the country”, assured the Mayor.
“After
losing, unfortunately, the leadership in many sports, the country returned to
the well-forgotten old”, said Ilsur Metshin. “The conveyor has to work: take
the best of the mass and yard sports in children's sports schools and youth
teams, then the best of the best - to professionals. We will work hard and do
everything we can as the municipality for the conveyor to work flawlessly”.
The Mayor
said that a lot of work are being done in the city in terms of training of
coaches. “Children's coaches are a special profession”, he said. According to

2016, while the number of full-time coaches is growing (from 516 to 527
people). The average age of coaches is 43.5 years.
“The
increasing of coaches’ wages remains a problem for us. In 2015, it amounted to
an average of 19 thousand 696 rubles, in 2016 - 19 thousand 760 rubles. We hope
that the situation will change after the board of the Ministry of Sport of the
RT, which was held on February 1”, said S. Vostrikova.
18 thousand
744 sportsmen are engaged in 32 municipal Youth Schools on 38 kinds of sports

winners of the world championships. And 234 people on 23 kinds of sports have
become winners of the Championship of Russia”, said the speaker.

speech, S. Vostrikova drew attention to the fact that this year the focus of
the committee's work will be on the revival of the local sport. “This year we
are changing the format of such massive children's competitions, as “Golden

in these tournaments until 2022”, said the speaker. Now coaches of yards’ clubs
