(KZN.RU,
February 3, Mikhail Chentsov). Kazan occupies the third place in the ranking of
the regional markets of outdoor advertising among megacities on the results of
first half of 2016. The volume of outdoor advertising market in the capital of
Tatarstan amounted to 307 million rubles, only Novosibirsk (407 million) and
Yekaterinburg (388 million) have more, told Irina Dyabilkina, the head of
outdoor advertising and information department, to Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of
Kazan, in the report on the results of 2016.
“In total,
Kazan has 53.9 thousand square meters of advertising space. All construction is
standard and unified and consistent with international standards”, marked I.
Dyabilkina. The Kazan outdoor advertising market is divided into the front
carrier (70 pieces) and free-standing advertising structures (1359 pieces). 25%
of advertising space occupies the facade advertising, 75% - freestanding
structure. According to I. Dyabilkina, only 5 lace banners left in Kazan, but
this kind of advertising “will be history” by 2019.
I.
Dyabilkina thanked the Mayor of Kazan for the funds, allocated to the panoramic
shot of the city. “Now there is an inventory of all objects in the 15 meters in
the roadside. All advertising design, all the traffic lights, amd all the road
signs will be planted on the e-card with gridded. We could not start with the
territorial scheme without it”, she said.
To organize
the advertising market and to put the external appearance of Kazan in line with
the European level, the interactive scheme of advertising structures was
created last year in the capital of Tatarstan.
“We
launched an interactive scheme on the website http://reklama.kzn.ru/. This
scheme is of interest to entrepreneurs, it is possible to see at what point and
what construction to set”, added I. Dyabilkina.
Elimination
of illegal constructions of information was another important factor in the
work to improve the external appearance of Kazan. The head of outdoor
advertising and information department reported that there were about 8000
uncoordinated structures in the capital of Tatarstan in 2010, or 60% of the
total. Today, this number was reduced to 20% (2.8 thousand).
In 2016, 58
illegal structures have been identified, 52 of them have been dismantled, and
work with the rest is carrying out. As I. Dyabilkina noted, there were not
newly installed structures recorded. Mainly advertising structures, in which permit
date were expired, were deemed illegal. She marked that the majority of the
owners dismantled their objects themselves, and only 18 constructions were dismantled
by force.
I. Metshin
thanked I. Dyabilkina for systematic and professional work. “Reducing illegal
signage from 60% to 20%, by 3 times, it's a big step forward. We're going to
gain experience and learn the best world practice somewhere abroad, but all of
us can learn how to work from our Department of Advertising”, concluded the
Mayor of Kazan.
