(KZN.RU,
December 16, Anton Nozdrin). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, held a regular
reception of the population in the Executive Committee of the city. The
residents appealed to the head of the capital of Tatarstan on issues, related
to the lighting of settlements, the installation of video surveillance systems
in apartment buildings, and road conditions.
Rustem
Akhmetzyanov, a resident of the village Severny, complained about the lack of
lighting in the Moiseev street: lighting masts are available, but without
lighting fixtures. “In the autumn and in cloudy weather, walking there is
impossible”, he said. Ilsur Metshin told the resident of the village that the
list of streets, on which outdoor lights will be restored in 2017, has already
been approved. Moiseev Street entered the list as well.
Lyudmila
Kozlova, the head of the house №6 of housing №2 on Serov street, addressed to
the Mayor of the city with the question about how the video surveillance system
in their house will be established. “Residents are worried whether the
installation of cameras would impact the bill?” she asked.
The Mayor
told the resident that the installation of video surveillance cameras in the
yards of apartment buildings began in this year. It is carried out by
companies-investors without additional financial burden on residents. Three
cameras on every home are installed, a review of which covers the entrance to
the yard, playground and the site of municipal solid waste. However, if the
tenants will want to install additional cameras, they will need to pay for
them. The decision to install additional cameras make by a majority vote at a
general meeting of tenants. Ilsur Metshin asked the head of the house to convey
this information to her neighbors.
Repair of
the urban and township roads is another topic that the residents of the city
often raise at the reception of the Mayor of Kazan. “Our citizens are concerned
about capital repair of the road along the Kyzyl Armeyskaya street from Clara
Zetkin street to Poselkovaya street”, asked Gelyusa Amirova, a resident of the
Admiralteiskaya Sloboda. She noted that a lot of socially important objects are
on the street: a mosque, Garden of the fisherman, a gymnasium, an ice skating
rink. “The road is poor. It’s impossible to pass along it in spring and
autumn,” said G. Amirova. The Mayor explained that this land has been included
in the list of roads to be repaired and, if there will funding from the budget
of Tatarstan, work is planned for the summer of 2017.
After
listening to the citizens, Ilsur Metshin noted that appeals of the population
are the most important landmark of the city authorities’ work.
