The agreement on cooperation between the Kazan City Hall and PAO "AvtoVAZ" has been concluded

(KZN.RU, December 15, Alsu Safina). The agreement on cooperation between the Kazan City Hall and the company PAO “AvtoVAZ” was signed today at the capital's City Hall. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the city, and Jan Ptachek, the executive vice-president of PAO “AvtoVAZ” on sales and marketing, put their signatures under the document.

The company transferred to the capital of Tatarstan four “Lada Vesta” and “Lada 4x4 Urban” for free use for one year, which will be used for the needs of urban education sector establishments, in the framework of the agreement. The “AvtoVAZ” is obliged to maintain proper technical condition of vehicles during the whole period of operation.

According to Ilsur Metshin, the signing of the agreement will strengthen the existing partnership with the company “AvtoVAZ". The Mayor reminded that the Kazan City Hall has experience of cooperation with it in the major events that took place in Kazan. For example, the “AvtoVAZ” has provided 193 cars “Lada” for transportation of athletes, organizers and judges last year during the FINA World Cup.

“Every time you have confirmed the high quality of your work, effectively helping in the organization and successful realization of the significant projects of the city”, said Ilsur Metshin. "”We have already had an opportunity to make sure you are the partners who not only set ambitious goals, but also successfully reach them”.

“We appreciate that the “AvtoVAZ” focused, first of all, on domestic consumption, and is one of the most powerful drivers of Russian automotive market”, added the Mayor. “By signing this agreement, we have made a modest contribution to support the development of our automotive industry. We appreciate the collaboration with your company. I am confident that our cooperation will not only demonstrate the advantages of domestic cars to residents and guests of Kazan during city events, but also make these events more vivid and impressive”.

Jan Ptachek, the executive vice-president of the PAO “AvtoVAZ” on sales and marketing, said that the Kazan administration actively supports the policy of import substitution, and Tatarstan is one of the most important markets for the brand “Lada”: the republic is on the second place in sales of the company's cars.

“We have cooperated in the framework of the world championship in water sports in 2015, this year the company participated in the celebration of the Day of the City. We plan to cooperate even tighter in 2017”, said the representative of the company.

After signing the agreement, the Mayor of Kazan tested the car “Lada Vesta”. “My first car is associated with the “AvtoVAZ”, but the auto industry in the face of this company stepped far forward”, he shared his impressions. “It is a modern car, which is equipped with everything necessary.
