Ilsur Metshin conducted a meeting of the Council on the development of the Strategy-2030

(KZN.RU, September 7). The meeting of the Strategic Council on the development of the Strategy of socio-economic development of the city until 2030 was held in Kazan. The participants summed up the preliminary results and discussed the prospects of further work under conducting of Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the capital of Tatarstan.

Boris Zhikharevich, the director of Resource Centre on Strategic Planning under Leontiev Centre, presented the draft Strategy document 2030. He outlined the strategic goal of Kazan. “This is a city that fits into the community of the world's cities, the capital of talent, tolerance and technology, leader of the Russian economy of knowledge”, he concluded.

Ilsur Metshin instructed the members of the Council to examine the proposed options in detail with specific indicators of achievement of the objectives in the end of the discussion.

Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Kazan Executive Committee, Rustam Nigmatullin, the first deputy head of the municipal formation of Kazan, Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, Lyudmila Andreeva, the secretary of the Kazan City Duma, Ivan Kuznetsov, the deputy head of the Executive Committee on Economic Development, Vladimir Gritskih, the head of the local office for the development of the Strategy-2030 , heads of district administrations and heads of structural divisions of the Executive Committee participated in the meeting of the Council.

Work on the formation of the Strategy of socio-economic development of the city until 2030 was launched in Kazan in February. All residents of the city could take part in the formulation, filling out a questionnaire. A number of thematic meetings, during which experts shared their opinions on the development of the city, took place in the capital of Tatarstan during the year.
