The new building of the Engineering Center “Energoprogress” opened in Kazan

(KZN.RU, September 8). The new office building of the Engineering Center “Energoprogress” (Volgogradskaya Str., 34) opened in Kazan. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, attended the ceremony.

Cutting-edge developments in the field of an integrated approach to solving problems to ensure the stable operation of power systems were presented to honorary guests during the inspection of renewed Engineering Center premises.

R. Minnikhanov emphasized that the development of engineering is the key to growth for large high-tech enterprises. “If our power companies would buy everything from the outside, money would not be enough. And most importantly, we can prevent such errors, which will be very difficult to correct in the future”, he said.

“You have a strong team of engineers, a developed infrastructure, and 15 modern laboratories. It should be further developed. Do not rely solely on the Tatarstan companies: you have to test your achievements on them. And it is necessary to work in parallel with foreign partners and to find markets outside the country”, added the President of the RT.

Then, Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards of the RT and Gratitudes of the Tatarstan President to the energy workers for the great contribution to the development of the power sector of the country.

The “Energoprogress” is one of the first engineering centers in the country in the field of energy, created in 1989. Today, the institution activity goes far beyond the republic and includes the whole cycle of works on engineering management, supply and construction of various industries as EPC (M) - contractor.

Construction and reconstruction of the office building, which area is 919.26 square meter, is the first stage of resettlement of the Engineering Center areas. Next it is planned to construct a new laboratory building, where 15 accredited laboratories will “move”. 5 production sites operate in the country for today, reports the press service of the President of the RT.

Albert Karimov, the deputy Prime Minister of the RT and the Minister of Industry and Trade of the RT, Albert Nafigin, the assistant of the President of the RT, Irek Faizullin, the minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing, Farid Abdulganiyev, the minister of Ecology and Natural resources of the RT, Rausil Haziev, the general director of the OAO “Generation Company”, Ilshat Fardiev, the general director of the OAO “Network company”, and others also attended the event.
